#  A Snapshot of Wyoming Regulation in 2018

 

Any attempt to unravel a government's regulatory thicket is far more daunting than taking on an old mess of tack, ropes, and miscellaneous bits accumulating in a neglected barn. You don't know where to start and you just want to walk away and let it pile up.

But we don't have to walk away from Wyoming's regulatory thicket challenge just yet, as you will see when you click the link to The Mercatus Center's Snapshot of Wyoming Regulation in 2018. Thanks to Mercatus' computer modeling we have a way to begin to unravel Wyoming's regulatory tangle.

What pops out in the bar graph is The Department of Workforce Services Restriction Count, but the entire list of Wyoming's ten most regulated departments sets the stage for more detective work. A number of Wyoming Legislators attended a presentation by Mercatus experts this spring sponsored by the Wyoming Liberty Group. Wyoming's elected officials will receive a copy of the Mercatus Center's Snapshot of Wyoming Regulation.
