CHEYENNE: The Wyoming Liberty Group (WyLiberty) filed an advisory opinion request with the Federal Election Commission (FEC) today to ensure grassroots organizations will not have to register and report with the federal government just to speak. This was done on behalf of Free Speech, a Wyoming unincorporated nonprofit association of individuals who would like to speak out about political issues in the coming months, but are unsure whether their speech will have to comply with dozens of federal regulations.
CHEYENNE: The Wyoming Liberty Group (WyLiberty ) today joins 17 public policy research organizations and a bipartisan group of 333 state legislators in a friend-of-the-court (amicus) brief urging the Supreme Court to affirm the ruling that Obamcare’s individual mandate exceeds Congress’s power to regulate interstate commerce.
CHEYENNE: The Wyoming Liberty Group (WyLiberty) released its latest Liberty Brief, Medical Freedom Zones in November 2011. It shows how the State of Wyoming or a tribal nation could create a zone where health care professionals may serve patients and conduct research free from most government intervention.
CHEYENNE: The Wyoming Liberty Group released an analysis of state and local government employment data showing that in Wyoming, the burden of government is going up while in most other states it is going down.
